Azetone
Mk II IOM
is a Scandinavian design by Peter Witt and Johan von Matern.
More than 150 boats are built since 2004. From 2007 the boats
are build under license in The Netherlands by Masterboats (license
holder). Small changes to the mould make the possibilities for
self building bigger. More people are able to build the boat
and thus can save money making it a relative inexpensive boat.
The performance is great. Winning races and results in the top
end of the list is very common. The appearance of the boat is
liked by many. With this boat you get it all, good performance,
great looks and a mild price tag. The materials used are epoxy
laminates with reinforcements in the high stress areas. This
assures the right distribution of the forces, stiffness and
a flawless end result. The boats come with an Azetone carbon
fin, rudder and ballast. |
